Musical Influences

The Beatles
The Beatles are arguably the greatest pop band ever to grace the ears of any generation. With that distinction they have the honor of being one of the greatest popular music influences in the musical world. Time has and will continue to prove the greatness of the band's song writing ability.

The Dave Matthews Band
Where the Beatles may be the best band of all time, DMB is also arguably, the best popular music has to offer currently. They have the distinction of being one of the all time greatest live bands to ever step foot one a stage. The song writing ability and the caliber of musicianship in this band has put their mark on pop music, which should last for generations.

Led Zeppelin
As the fathers of hard rock as we know it today, Zeppelin's effect on this genre cannot be understated. Their legendary status as musicians has made their names synonymous with their instrument; Jimmy Page and his Gibson Les Paul. John Bonham pounding on the drums. John Paul Jones holding the music together on bass, organ, guitar and whatever other instrument crossed his path. And last but not least is Robert Plant, without whom rock singers would never have dared to take their vocals over the top. 'Legendary musicianship' 'Legendary songs'

Medeski Martin and Wood

Modern jazz wonder boys, Medeski Martin and Wood, have become well known in the jazz scene for their unorthodox approach to classic jazz concepts and instruments. They are powered by the fantastic playing of John Medeski on, primarily, the Hammond B3 organ. With Billy Martin on drums and percussion. Finally, on upright bass and guitars is Chris Wood. No mere words can describe their music, which at times totally grooves and at other times verges on the absurd. One thing is for sure, they truly epitomize what modern jazz is truly about.
